Originally knit with Mary Maxim Starlette yarn, a worsted weight with approx 140 yards per 2-ounce skein at the time. With the variety of  yarns to choose from today, there are endless possibilities when using this pattern. Keep in mind that yardage may differ. Requires  size U.S. 5 (3.75 mm), 7 (4.5 mm), and 8" double point size 5 (3.75 mm).
